## How it works

1. **Get your code and your link.** Write to us. You get a free account, your own promo code and your own link, usually the same day.
2. **Your audience uses either one.** A member types your code at checkout, or follows your link and the code is applied for them. 10% off whatever they buy.
3. **You get a report and a payout.** Each month a statement of what your members paid and what you earned. Each commission is paid 30 days after the charge it comes from.

- **Educators and trading rooms.** You teach options, gamma or 0DTE and want your students on the same levels you draw.
- **Creators.** You post or stream about SPX, ES or NQ and already show dealer positioning on screen.
- **Newsletter writers.** You send a market note before the bell and quote the flip and the walls.
- **Tool builders.** You make indicators, journals or bots for traders who would read FirmTape's levels beside them.

## The rules

- **Say that you earn.** Put "#ad, I earn a commission" in the post, next to the link, and say it out loud in a video.
- **No promises.** Never promise profits, win rates or returns, and never present FirmTape as signals or trade calls. It sells measurements of positioning.
- **No spam, no coupon sites.** No unsolicited mail or messages, and no coupon, cashback or deal sites.
- **No self-referral.** Your own purchases, and those of your own accounts, earn nothing.
- **No bidding on our name.** No search ads on the FirmTape name or its misspellings.
- **No lock-in.** No exclusivity and no minimum. Either side can stop at any time. A partnership that breaks these rules ends, with its unpaid commission.

### When and how am I paid?

Each commission is held 30 days after the charge it comes from, then paid with the next monthly payout, by Wise or PayPal. A small balance rolls into the following month.

### What counts?

Every payment a member makes for 12 months from their first payment with your code or link, on any product, monthly or yearly: LIVE, ORDERS (with Orders API and Orders Team), LAB (with LAB credit packs), DATASET, GEO (with Geo API and Geo Team). After the first payment the code does not need to be entered again.

### When is a member counted as mine?

At their first payment with your code or your link. From then on they stay yours for the whole window; a member is never moved to another partner.

### What about refunds and disputes?

A refunded or disputed payment earns nothing: its commission is reversed. If it was already paid out, the difference comes off your next payout. That is what the 30-day hold is for.

### How much is that in dollars?

It is 10% of what your members pay after their 10% discount. Every price is on the pricing page.

### Do members keep the discount?

Yes: a subscription started with your code keeps the discount for as long as it runs.

### How do I see what I earned?

A private dashboard link shows your code, the members bound to it (as anonymous tags), and what you earned, what is still held and what was paid, by month.

### Can my audience get a bigger discount?

For a larger audience we agree a custom split of a bigger pool between the discount and your commission. Write to partners@firmtape.com.
