Integrations

Beta · part of the LIVE plan · Levels API

FirmTape's levels drawn inside the platform you already trade on: the zero-gamma flip, call resistance and put support of the volume book, the book the terminal draws, with the open-interest levels optional and gamma by strike where the platform can show it. For SPX, the ES and NQ futures and about 125 more tickers.

How it works

  1. Hold the LIVE plan. The integrations are included; there is no add-on price.
  2. Create an integration token on /account#integrations. It starts ftpl_ and reads levels only: it cannot run LAB or spend credits. Make one per platform or machine, so each can be revoked on its own.
  3. Install your platform's plugin from its page above and paste the token into its settings. The plugin asks the levels API every few seconds and redraws; an unchanged reading answers 304 with no body.
  4. TradingView and thinkorswim cannot fetch data. For them, copy the levels string on the same account page and paste it into the script; it stays as pasted until you paste again.

The levels API

Every plugin reads the same public API, and it is yours to use directly: the reference and the OpenAPI document.

RequestAnswer
GET /api/v1/symbolsEvery covered symbol. No key needed.
GET /api/v1/levels?sym=ES,NQ,QQQFlip, call wall, put wall and net gamma of up to 20 symbols; include=gamma adds gamma by strike.
GET /api/v1/gamma?sym=SPXGamma by strike of the newest book.
GET /api/v1/history?sym=SPXThe day's levels as a series.
GET /api/v1/levels.txtThe pasteable levels string for TradingView and thinkorswim.
GET /api/v1/bookmap.csvA Bookmap Cloud Notes sheet.
GET /api/v1/keyChecks a token.

Send the token as Authorization: Bearer ftpl_...; a tool that cannot set headers may pass ?key= instead, and one that cannot read an HTTP status may add errors=200. The limit is 120 requests a minute per token, and a 304 answer does not count against it.

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer ftpl_YOUR_TOKEN" \

Questions

Are the integrations included in LIVE?
Yes. Every integration and the levels API are part of the LIVE plan, $49 a month or $490 a year, with nothing else to buy.
Are they finished?
They are beta, version 0.1. Each one is written and tested against the levels API, and not yet verified inside every platform. Expect rough edges and updates.
Which symbols can I draw?
SPX, the ES and NQ futures (MES and MNQ read as ES and NQ) and about 125 more index, ETF and stock tickers, listed at firmtape.com/api/v1/symbols. ES and NQ are the SPX and NDX books moved by the day's basis, measured from put-call parity; no CME data is involved.
How fresh are the lines?
SPX and ES are rebuilt every second; NQ and the tickers every five minutes. The live plugins poll every 5 seconds by default (3 at the least), TrendSpider refreshes every 10 to 20 seconds, and TradingView and thinkorswim show what you pasted until you paste again.
Is the token safe to paste into a platform?
An integration token reads levels only: it cannot run LAB or spend credits. Platforms save it in their settings and templates in plain text, so do not share a template with it filled in, make one token per platform or machine, and revoke any that leaked on the account page.
Are these trade signals?
No. The lines are measurements of dealer positioning, the same numbers the terminal draws. FirmTape publishes no buy or sell signals.
